Version 18 October 2026

What this notice covers

LINK Business collects the details you give in an enquiry, a confidentiality agreement, an information memorandum questionnaire, an offer or a feedback survey, together with how you use the pages we send you, to appraise, market and sell or acquire a business, qualify buyers and protect confidentiality, present your offer, prepare and sign agreements, verify identity where the law requires, and keep you informed about businesses or services that match what you have told us.

When you sign a confidentiality agreement we may compile publicly available information about you and your entity into a short brief for the broker and the vendor, so they can decide what to release to you.

We share what is needed with the other party to the transaction and their advisers, our campaign suppliers, the business-for-sale portals (where the listing is blind) and our service providers, as set out in our Privacy Policy. Some suppliers store information overseas.

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or opt out of marketing, at any time by contacting the office on your document or melbourne@linkbusiness.com.au. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information and complaints.
